Lebron and Griffin top players for February

James achieves the award for the second time this season. Griffin receives it for the first time in his career.

Lebron James and Blake Griffin have been named top players of their conferences. LeBron’s Heat closed the month with a positive balance of 9-1. Among this 9 games (he misses after he suffered a broken nose), King James averaged 30’8 points, 8’1 rebounds and 6’1 assists. We need to add a 57’5 percentage shooting from the field, becoming the second player, since Wilt Chamberlain, in recording these numbers. 

On the Western Conference, Blake Griffin breaks Kevin Durant’s streak and he claims the trophy. The player ended the month with 30 points and 10’7 rebounds per game. His Clippers attained a record of 7 wins and 3 losses that placed them at the 4th position of the Western Conference. His best performance was in the loss against Miami, 43 points 15 rebounds and 6 assists.
