Magic&Larry:from rivalry to friendship

The story of a rivalry that changed the course of the NBA

Magic and Larry, two of the best players of NBA’s history were the backbones of what is now the NBA.

Basketball within the American territory suffered a major crisis and recorded the lowest levels of audience in the late 70s. There was no longer that sport in which all players worked together to lead his team to the goal. Unfortunately for fans, basketball became a mere showcase in which each player  “showed off” their abilities without thinking  of anything else.

While this was happening, two young players won every game with their universities and their clashes on the court aroused more interest than many games of the NBA. Their names were Earvin Johnson, whom people began to know as "Magic Johnson", and Larry Bird. Destiny wanted to bring these two stars together  in the 80s  carrying with them a rivalry that would change the history of this sport. Magic vs. Bird or what is the same charisma and talent against competitiveness and  the pursuit of perfection.

Few could imagine that from this rivalry arose  some friendship, a gesture of respect from any of them but…I am not going to reveal any more details. I think that is better to see and hear what the characters say about this story, the story of a rivalry that ended in a great friendship.
