JJ.Hickson suspended for violating NBA's drug policy

Denver Nuggets' player will miss the first five games of the season after a positive drug test.

 

  

The NBA announced the suspension of Denver's power forward for the violation of the anti drug program, (probably marijuana) . Consequently, the player will be suspended for the first five games of the season against Detroit Pistons, Oklahoma City Thunder, Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Last season, Hickson averaged 11,8 points and 9,2 rebounds before undergoing surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right knee.  Now that he is ready to play, his return will be postpone  to November 9th when the Nuggets will face Portland Trail Blazers.
