NBA All-star Reserves announced!

Chris Bosh and Dirk Nowitzki headline the list of 14 players that have been selected as reserves for the all-star. 1st time All-star for Wall, Lillard, DeRozan and Millsap.

We just know the rosters that will play on the 63th edition. The game is scheduled on February 16.

East: Chris Bosh, Roy Hibbert, John Wall, Paul Millsap, Joe Johnson and Joakin Noah join Lebron and company.

West: Lamarcus Aldridge, Dwight Howard, James Harden, Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Damian Lillard and Chris Paul will join Kevin Durant and the rest of the players. 

We won’t have players like Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, Vince Carter, Paul Pierce or Kobe Bryant (he misses the game because of his injury), due to the generational change. But, as Kobe said, “let the youngers play and enjoy with them”, so, it is time to enjoy once again with the All-star show.

Chris Bosh y Dirk Nowitzki lideran la lista de reservas para el All-star. Wall, Lillard, DeRozan y Millsap se estrenan.

Ya están completas las plantillas que se enfrentaran el domingo 16 de Febrero en la 63 edición del partido de las estrellas.

Este: Chris Bosh, Roy Hibbert, John Wall, Paul Millsap, Joe Johnson y Joakin Noah acompañarán a Lebron y compañía.

Oeste: Lamarcus Aldridge, Dwight Howard, James Harden, Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Damian Lillard y Chris Paul formarán filas junto a Kevin Durant.

El cambio generacional nos deja fuera a jugadores como: Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, Vince Carter, Paul Pierce y Kobe Bryant (se queda fuera por lesión a pesar de estar en el quinteto titular). Como bien dijera Kobe “es tiempo para que los jóvenes nos hagan disfrutar”, así que, disfrutemos un año más del espectáculo del All star.

Paul Pierce out!

Brooklyn Nets' forward will be out for 3-4 weeks due to a fracture on the third metacarpal of his right hand.

The injury-plague continues in Brooklyn. Pierce joins the list formed by the guard Deron Williams and the shooting guard Jason Terry. The player abandoned the field last friday when his team was defeated by the Houston Rockets.

Pierce is not at his regular level in the beginning of this season. He is only averaging 12'6 points per game with a 38'6 %. The player does not seem to have adapted to his new franchise and the rythm proposed by his  coach, the debutant Jason Kidd. 

Paul will not participate on the first battle for the city that does not sleep. Nets will receive the New York Knicks on Thursday. The Knicks, as Brooklyn, are trying to find its course on the league. Finally, Paul Pierce will not play against his former team, the Boston Celtics, in which he established himself as an star within the league, and where he won a ring in 2008,being the MVP of the finals.

El alero de los Nets de Brooklyn tiene fracturado el tercer metacarpiano de su mano derecha. Se estima que el periodo de baja sea de 3 a 4 semanas.

Continúa la plaga de lesiones en Brooklyn. A las bajas de Deron Williams y Jason Terry, se le une la de Paul Pierce, uno de los fichajes estrella de este verano. El jugador tuvo que abandonar la cancha el pasado viernes en la derrota de su equipo frente a los Houston Rockets.

Pierce no ha tenido un buen inicio de campaña. Sus números se antojan bastante pobres, ya que tan solo está promediando 12’6 puntos por partido con un 38’6 % de efectividad. El jugador no parece haberse adaptado a su nueva franquicia y al modelo de juego que plantea su entrenador, el debutante Jason Kidd.

El californiano no podrá disputar el primer duelo por el control de la ciudad que nunca duerme, y es que este mismo jueves, reciben la visita de unos  Knicks que tratan de buscar su rumbo en esta liga. Además, tampoco podrá jugar el próximo día 10 frente a los Boston Celtics, equipo en el que se consolidó como una de las estrellas de la NBA y en el que ganó un anillo en 2008, siendo nombrado MVP de las finales.
