The King returns and Cleveland achieve their first victory

Kyrie Irving was the star of the game the night  Lebron came back to Cleveland.

Cavaliers’ fans have just been witnesses of something they had been looking forward for a long time. “The prodigal son” played again for the team he made his debut in the NBA scoring 12 points and 4 assists. It was also a special night forDavid Blatt, who reecountered his former team.

The tittle contenders, Cleveland Cavaliers,  beat Maccabi Tel Aviv, the current Euroleague champions, 107-80. Kyrie Irving who was the best player of the match scored 16 points while Thompson and Waiters added 14 and 15 points respectively. The other star recruit, Kevin Love,  added 8 points and 11 rebounds.

Landersberg with 23 points and Jeremy Pargo with 18 points were the leaders of Maccabi Tel Aviv.

It's soon to determine Cavaliers' level. But if they have no injuries of its stars, the road to the tittle seems to have no complication.

Los seguidores de los Cavaliers ya han sido testigos de algo que llevaban esperando desde hace tiempo. "El hijo pródigo" volvía a enfundarse la camiseta del equipo con el que debutó en la NBA anotando 12 puntos y 4 asistencias. Noche de reencuentro también para David Blatt, quien se enfrentaba a su ex equipo.

El partido enfrentaba a los máximos aspirantes a alzarse campeónes de la NBA contra el Maccabi Tel Aviv, actuales campeones de la Euroliga. Los de Ohio se llevaron la victoria por un contundente 107-80. Por parte de Cleveland destacaron Irving (16 puntos), Thompson (14 puntos) y Waiters (15 puntos). El otro fichaje estrella de la franquicia, Kevin Love anotó 8 puntos y capturó 11 rebotes. 

En el equipo israelí destacaron Landersberg (23 puntos) y Jeremy Pargo (18 puntos). Sin embargo, pese a su actuación, nada pudieron hacer para evitar la derrota de su equipo.

Aún es pronto para determinar el rendimiento de los actuales Cavaliers pero si a Lebron James, Irving, Love y compañía les respetan las lesiones, va a ser realmente complicado que no se alcen con el trofeo de campeones.

The Americans were proclaimed world leaders, defeating with 129-92 the Serbian national team.

The World Basketball Championship finished, and it was in style. Everybody dreamt about the final between Spain and the USA, but the truth is that Serbia was a worthy opponent. It was the only team that was able to achieve 92 points against the winner.

The Balkans went all the way after beating the French team, the Spanish national team’s executioner, in semifinals. They had little to lose, so they crushed the rival team since the very first moment and took the lead for some minutes in the first quarter. However, the pupils of “coach-k” did not wait too much to react. Guided by Kyrie Irving, tournament’s MVP, the Americans put on their overalls and started to show why they headed out as favorites.

As a result, they got 129 points in 40 minutes, and all the players of the team managed to score.

Many people doubted this national team, especially after the injuries of George and Durant. But the thing is that, in the end, it was possible to gather a competitive team, a team with just one aim: being the world champions. 

This mission ended up with Faried and Irving in the ideal quintet of the tournament, together with Pau Gasol, Nicolas Batum and Milos Teodosic.

¡Los Reyes del Mundo!

Los estadounidenses se proclamaron campeones del mundo tras derrotar por 129-92 a la selección de Serbia. 

Terminó el Mundial de Basket, y lo hizo a lo grande. Todos soñaban con la final entre España y Estados Unidos, pero lo cierto es que Serbia fue un digno contrincante y así lo demostraron tras ser el único equipo capaz de lograr 92 puntos contra el campeón.

Los balcánicos llegaban a la final tras haber vencido a Francia, verdugo de la selección española, en semifinales. Con poco que perder,  salieron arrollando y consiguieron ponerse por delante durante algunos minutos en el primer cuarto. Sin embargo, la reacción de los pupilos de "coach-K" no tardó en llegar. Guiados por Kyrie Irving, MVP del torneo, los americanos se pusieron el mono de trabajo y empezaron a demostrar por qué partían como favoritos. 

El resultado fueron los 129 puntos que consiguieron anotar en 40 minutos, y es que todos los componentes del equipo lograron anotar.

Muchos dudaban de esta selección, especialmente tras las bajas de George y Durant, pero lo cierto es que al final se consiguió reunir a un equipo competitivo.Un equipo con una sola misión: ser campeones del mundo. 

Una misión que concluyó con Faried e Irving en el quinteto ideal del torneo, acompañando a Pau gasol, Nicolas Batum y Milos Teodosic.

El Retorno del Rey

Lebron James vuelve a Cleveland tras pasar 4 años en los Heat. El alero anunció su vuelta a casa en una carta publicada en la revista "Sports Illustrated".

Se acabó la espera, Lebron James, el hijo pródigo, vuelve a Cleveland. El alero ha decidido regresar al equipo del estado que lo vio nacer. Allí se reunirá con Kyrie Irving, uno de los mejores bases de la liga, y con el número 1 del draft, Andrew Wiggins. 

La misión principal será llevar al equipo a los playoffs, así como guiar a los jóvenes talentos del equipo. Bennet, Wiggins e Irving tratarán de aprender del mejor jugador del planeta, y quien sabe, poder llevar a los Cavaliers a alzarse con el título.

All-Star Game lineups!

We know the starting lineups for the all-star game. Griffin, Curry, Love, Irving and Paul George are the novelties in the starting lineups.

Lebron James has been the most voted with 1.416.419, followed by Kevin Durant 1.396.294 and the breakout player Paul George with 1.211.318 .

So the starting lineups are the following:

East: Kyrie Irving, Dwayne Wade, Paul George, Carmelo Anthony and Lebron James. Lebron and Carmelo will play the role of power forward and center.

West: Stephen Curry, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin and Kevin Love. Kobe may decide not to go as he declared: "With all due respect to the fans who voted me in, and I certainly appreciate that ... but you've got to do the right thing as well.
