Portland’s center caught on numbers never attained before in the history of the franchise.

Blazers achieved the victory thanks to the awesome performance of its best
player: Lamarcus Aldridge. His 31 points and 25 rebounds triggered the
famous strain “MVP! MVP! MVP!” sang by the fans.
The match
did not start well for Oregon’s team, especially for Aldridge who ended the
first quarter with a dreadful offensive performance scoring just 1 of his 8
shots. The intensity he placed under the boards, 9 rebounds in the first
quarter, allowed his team to finish the first quarter with an even match. From
then on, the center’s best scorer version appeared. Neither Howard’s defense, nor Casspi’s work
overcame the historic night of Aldridge.
There is no doubt that he is
among the 5 best centers of the NBA and the 5 fittest players in this beginning
of the season. If he follows
this way, he should be taken into account on the race for the MVP.
